AIMS-Cameroon has trained a total of 253 students (242 under the taught Master’s degree program and 11 under the Co-operative Master’s Degree program) since it’s inception in 2013. We shall soon be graduating the second cohort of Co-op students of the 2018/2019 academic year (03 females and 07 males), after a structured period of combining academic courses with scheduled segments of practical experience in relevant industries. Students benefit from the experience of renowned visiting lecturers who teach for three weeks each.
Capacity building is provided by tutors who are always available on campus to ensure a 24-hour learning environment.
With degrees in Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, Financial Mathematics as well as Actuarial Sciences , our 2019/2020 cohort comprises of 43 students (18females and 25males) enrolled in the Co-op (10) and Taught Master’s program (33).
Combined, our scholars are nationals of 10 African countries, namely: Sudan, Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Malawi, Zambia, Ghana, DRC, Madagascar, and Togo. All students are required to volunteer for at least 20 hours during the academic year. This program will strengthen their leadership skills as well as their commitment to invest in Africa.
